I completely forgot to blog about the Packers game on Sunday night! And it was an important one too, against our arch rivals, the Bears. The game was really wild, and twice the Pack were down by ten points. They allowed some crazy stuff too, like a punt to the five-yard line that was returned all the way for a touchdown! But then Rasul Douglas got a pick-six for the second week in a row! So that was helpful. The announcers were saying that together both teams scored forty-five points in the second quarter, and that it was a Sunday Night Football record. The Pack were down at halftime, and I was afraid they would get humiliated at Lambeau by the Bears after Rodgers told them he owned them during their last meeting. However, the second half the offense came out swinging (wrong sport), and the defense stopped the Bears cold, although Special Teams were still awful and seemed like they were trying to save the Bears' coach's job. The craziest moment of the whole game was when they showed a guy in the stands who looked more like Aaron Rodgers than Rodgers himself does! What?? So not only does Rodgers still own the Bears, but does he have joint ownership with his clone?? It turns out the guy is from Germany, and his father is a huge Packers fan, so he and his sister took their dad to Lambeau (his lifelong dream) for an early Christmas present. And now he's famous!! Almost as famous as my hat!
