Photos from the Arboretum and Other Miscellany

Today was a very blah day, too much to do at work and the weather was cold and rainy. My regular readers know I always want to be outside, but today I just couldn't make myself go out there and walked around the house instead. I only left to go to Adoration, where I ran into Rich and Kathbert. The Lutheran church where I used to sing is getting rid of their Austin organ, so the guy in charge of that project was coming to look at our church's Austin organ that was damaged in the fire. I asked if we could just buy the Lutheran church's Austin, but Kathbert said that wouldn't work.

As promised, here are some more photos from Travalon's good camera, and some photos from my phone. These first three are from my phone, when we visited the Arboretum with my aunt and uncle.

Travalon took some with his good camera.

And this is a crabapple in our neighborhood, from his good camera.

I took this photo of the Carillon on campus with my phone.

This is a cool shot he took of a pelican flying in front of the dam at Sauk.

Here are some photos from the cactus prairie in Spring Green.

My phone says this is stone seed:

I thought this was called Prairie Smoke, but my phone is calling it Old Man's Whiskers:

And now it's time for some DuoLingo news.

I wouldn't want pizza that takes only two minutes to cook, but you do you, Duo.
