There is good news to report about Lutheran Cathedral of the West: Banjo Player left me a message last night to say the forces of good have won and the student apartment building will not be built there! (I could not go to this meeting, nor could Rich, since Mr. Why's brother was in town. He was actually on the East Coast to accept an award for a hospital he designed, but he decided that, while he was on the same continent, he would visit Mr. Why's grave.) So Rich's incredibly moving speech did its job! In related Rich news, when Anna Banana II asked him where today's newspaper was last night, he said, "Under tomorrow's newspaper." Subscribing to News of the Future - now that's literally some forward thinking!
