I am very excited because tomorrow is the start of Early
Music Festival, and this year the theme is early American music. This should be
a very interesting topic, everything from William Billings to old Negro
spirituals. I hope to get a chance to blog now and then during the Festival and
will let you know what fascinating things I learn during my classes. The
concerts should be wonderful as well. Best of all, I don’t have to go to work
for a whole week. Yay!
