More Photos of Our Devil's Lake Cruise

Yesterday Travalon and I met Tiffy and Rich at our favorite Chinese restaurant on State Street, which we had thought closed for good - we were so happy to see it open again! Rich got sick during lunch, so he didn't join us when we tried to go to the zoo, but Kathbert did. The line was very long to get in, and we didn't want to take a spot from a little kid, so we just walked on the path behind Edgewood College. After Tiffy headed back home, Travalon and I went to Woodman's and got Hawaiian Punch and Tahitian Treat. We tried them, and Hawaiian Punch is like Kool-Aid kind of, whereas Tahitian Treat is carbonated and very, very, very sweet. It needs a little (or a lot of) vodka.

Here are some more pictures from our Devil's Lake boat cruise on Sunday evening:

And here are some pictures from my cell phone. (The ones above are from Travalon's good camera.)

And here is a video of Saturday's fireworks as seen from the roof of Tiffy's sister's apartment building.

And here are the fireworks as they appeared for my neighbor, who was at the Alliant Energy Center.

And finally, the video of the cranes in our neighborhood yelling. My neighbor took this video, and Blogspot wouldn't process the video before, but now it has no problem with it. I can't keep up with Blogspot's ever-changing moods.
