There are already rumors swirling around about the new pope.
Here are a couple of amusing ones:
- This morning he allegedly snuck out of the Vatican without the Swiss Guard knowing.
- When the cardinals toasted the new pope at the dinner after his election, he is rumored to have replied, “And may the Lord forgive you for what you have done!”
I kind of hope both these rumors are true.
