Bridges of Madison (Dane County)

 

Yesterday Travalon took a walk along the Tenney Park Canal, and he passed lots of bridges. We often do this walk in warmer weather, but I don't think I've seen these bridges with snow on them. Here are some photos. (These are not in order.)

And this is Mickey's Tavern, home of the best lamb burger in town.

Just past Mickey's are the two cutest bridges, but Travalon said it was too cold to go any further. 

Tonight we ran to the post office in Waunakee (since it's the closest one) to get some stuff in the mail, then we went through their Rotary Lights display. Travalon took this photo.

I took some photos with my cell phone, but they didn't really turn out. We will just have to go back with our good cameras and try to take some better photos.
