Snow Snow Snow Snow Snow SNOW

It seemed like more than a coincidence when two different friends wanted to meet for coffee in Sun Prairie this morning, but we woke up to a blizzard, so we called it off. I did go for a very vigorous walk through the deep snow with my neighbor this morning, then another long walk with Travalon later in the morning, and then all three of us took a leisurely walk on the plowed roads after lunch. Travalon and I took pictures.

This first photo is from yesterday and shows how low the level of the river is right now. This is usually a little lagoon, but now it's a mud flat.

Here are the snow photos. Look at all that snow!

As you can see, by our early afternoon walk the snow had stopped and the sun had come out. Still, we have stayed holed up all day except for our three epic walks in the snow. Tonight we may venture the forty feet over to Mariner's for dinner, and then I will attend an online Baroque Christmas concert.
